what nineteen years taught me
I woke up at 5 am today and went back through every journal I’ve kept since 2007. This is what I wrote down.

love the game.
enjoy the journey.
stop overthinking.
don’t be so hard on yourself.
shoot for the moon & hit the stars.
work hard, play hard.
trust yourself.
learn from others.
falling in love is magical.
have faith in the hard times.
take the trip.
connect with old friends.
rest, breathe.
life isn’t all about money.
there is no blueprint.
success is a matter of momentum.
smile, Molesy.
don’t spend so much time planning or in the future.
love yourself.
nowhere to be & nothing to fear.
family is optional.
focus on the good / positive.
manifest your dreams.
listen to your body.
life is built at the extremes. moderation in extremes.
think long term.
take care of your body, love your people.
find your life force through writing & meditation.
ride the wave.
have fun.
having kids is a miracle.
hockey is the greatest sport in the world.
the simple moments are some of my favorites.
i am so proud of myself.
